Him. Oh. It was him. She lowered her hand, and looked at the TARDIS console. “Y’serious?” She muttered, then closed her eyes, “Fine. If that’s what y’wanna do, then fine.” She moved forward, and grabbed the controls, typing away for a moment. Hard to translate technology through a signal, but... “Sorry, hi. Yes. Doctor. Hope y’not busy. M’ship thought that you were a good person t’call. Without my permission, may I say. Now, give me a second..” She muttered the last bit, pushing up a handle, sending the signal through the phone signal. There was a small spark on the telephone on his desk. That small spark quickly turned into a hologram. And with a hesitant pause, The Doctor spun, looking at her projection version of him, as she gave a small grin.
“Face t’face. Ain’t that much better. Y’can put the phone down now, but don’t hang up. Now, pop quiz. How many ships in the universe d’ya think can do that?”

A soft smile stretched across her lips, moving closer to the Doctor and taking a seat on the ground beside him, her head lifting to look at the stars above. Truly, the only thing that made sense. People and aliens often didn’t, but stars did.
❝ How long have you been out here, watching ‘em? ❞
Her gaze turned back down to the male. Looked like he had been out here for a few hours, at least.
"You couldn't have noticed the TARDIS was gone in the half a minute it wasn't there."

He turned to face River, half irritated his TARDIS had been missing and half elated to see his wife. “Actually River, I did. That sort of thing happens when you are running from dangerous aliens and go to get in your ship and its gone.”
“Well, next time tell her she should be better at calculating the second she departs from.” River rolled her eyes. “Besides you’re still alive, so I wouldn’t call it dangerous.”

❝ Y’can stop that too. ❞
Her hand lifted, batting the sonic away from her. Nope. Didn’t need it. She’s fine. Totally. Give her a minute and she’ll be fine. Probably. Ignore the concussion she has and the cut above her eyebrow.
❝ No! ‘course not. Nothing. ❞
Pause.
❝ ...maybegotcaughtinanexplosion. But I’m fine. ❞

❝ Before my last regeneration, I was allowed to go anywhere I wanted. What exactly has changed? ❞
Though the Doctor seemed to be talking to herself with her attention fixed on the ‘no females allowed’ sign, her head turned towards her past self, as if expecting an explanation that’d make sense. Just because she’s female, she’s not allowed in? Why? The social constructs of gender don’t really apply to her or her species. Which makes this especially frustrating.

❝ Sit. Down. ❞
Her tone is more stern before, more demanding as she tightened her grip on his arms and forcibly moved him to one of the console seats, pushing him down to sit. God, the man is a stubborn as a pig.
❝ Let me check you over, ‘kay? I’m not leavin’ ‘til you let me. ❞
