Parnall 382 Basic Trainer
The Parnall 382 (also known as the Heck III) was designed as a basic trainer for the Royal Air Force and first flew in February 1939. It used the undercarriage, tail unit and outer wing panels of the Parnall Heck 2C. Although judged good as a trainer, it was not accepted into service (along with the five competing designs). Struck off charge in March 1943, it became a ground instructional airframe for the Air Training Corps.
