The ‘open book’ appliques on this skirt are inspired by a patchwork design shared by @nonasuch. I am working on adapting the pattern into a circle skirt; will share once complete!

Two versions of the concept art are shown here - the first had the skirt coloured digitally, so I could insert different prints on the book covers. The second was coloured entirely by hand.
