Hey, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for whatever wank broke out on your post. You shouldn't have had to deal with such a blow up just for starting a discussion or asking a question. You shouldnt berate yourself just for wanting to engage, and its a shame the fandom makes many people feel this way. I quite like your blog and enjoy your posts :). We need more people like you who want to start thoughtful discussions. Thanks for being here and try to ignore the negativity. You dont deserve it!

Aww thank you so much for such a sweet message. You are right. As a people pleaser (and I’m working on not being one) I often try to engage politely with hostile commenters, but I think I’ve reached a breaking point. And I think that’s probably good. Why try to rationally discuss something when the person is not listening to anything you are saying? But thank you so much for your support and your lovely message!

Pillowfort: bassfanimation

I’ve gone ahead and made a Pillowfort account under this same username, bassfanimation.  I’m going to start familiarizing myself with that platform, as I don’t think Tumblr is going to be around it’s current form for much longer. Verizon’s corporate plans for this place sound horrifying.  In the meantime, I’ll be here, until they force me out with their paid plan garbage.  

Do follow me on Pillowfort if you’d like.  I’ll try and find as many people as I can from here :).  I love this place for the people I’ve met, the art, the gifs, the memes, the fanfiction.  I hope all that can successfully make the leap to a new platform.  I don’t want to lose it all. ;_;

#it's even worse when you remember that her story started off with her being abused by her last family#and she's going to end her story by being murdered by her last family <-- OMG your tags... I have no words ;_;. I'm so sad.

She really started her story by being emotionally, physically, and sexually abused by the men in her life who were supposed to protect her and she’s going to end her story by being slaughtered like a rabid dog by the last man she truly loves. All for man pain. I hate this world.

Hello new followers!

Hello all,

I wanted to welcome new people who’ve found me on this big, wide, blue ocean of fan things and cats and stuff.  ^_^  I’m sorry it’s taken a bit to say hi, it’s just been a whirlwind the last few weeks.  Anyhow, I can talk a bit about how I blog around here so you can be at least a little prepared for my weird chicanery!  

I joined Tumblr specifically to follow some artists way back, and then I found the glorious (and also maddening) fandom for Sherlock BBC.  That’s been my primary thing here for years and years, and it will continue to be my #1 baby.  Obviously I ship Sherlolly, but I’m really okay with all shipping, as long as peeps remain nice to each other.  All are welcome!

My other interests are Mad Max: Fury Road, Steven U, Penny Dreadful, and various anime that I love.  Of course I’m a big Cumberbatch fan, so anything he’s attached to I will probably float along on here.  Also, I love ratties!  I have pet rats so I blog a lot of ratty pics and things.  

I try very, very hard to stay out of politics, social justice, fights, negativity, and wank.  Every now and then I’ll poke my nose into something like this, but I also use tags extremely liberally to help people avoid that.  I know how negativity affects folks, it really gets to me as well, so as long as tags are present, it helps everyone out. ^_^.

PS: I’m also a professional digital artist.  I will occasionally post my personal work and fanart here.  I’m going through some major mental health woes so I haven’t been doing nearly enough work. I hope to change that in 2017 :).

Awww honey, do you have a flu or is this something you came down with? I'm so sorry :(. Being sick or in pain is the worst. Especially when you can do literally nothing, uwuw. I'm thinking about you and I hope it will subside soon. <3 <3 <3

Thanks dear. I think I’m done with this run of the migraine thankfully now. But to answer your question no it wasn’t the flu. I had the flu a few months ago and that was definitely a whole other ball of pain. It’s just an unfortunate severe case of the migraine I had this time around. Actually my mom, grandma, and aunts have had to deal with this variation a lot. I usually get really bad ones at night and just shut myself down so I can sleep it off. It didn’t exactly work for me this time around even with all the medication(/the heated mask I use) I had been taking throughout the two days. I may need to revisit the doctor to see if they can give me something stronger again. I had never had nausea, I’ve gotten dizzy a little. It was just different and insufferable.
