i do fully believe in the theory that the time machine isn't actually a time machine, but a wishmaker that calls Pokemon into existence. however, it is nothing if not constant, and i also fully believe it just Puts Fake Memories of the Past into the heads of the Pokemon it summons into being

like the bully Koraidon in area zero. There is no way that thing doesn't have memories of being an absolute badass. Like I am 100% convinced that the time machine make that thing think he was the Alpha of all those other past Koraidon. total top dog. Whooping the shit out of those other beta Koraidon

i am bast (as you can see from my username). i like pokemon. so instead of using my main blog (which is @wordproblemapoligist) to talk about things that interest me or my existing sideblog (@ranger-katie) because it's literally already pokemon i figured i would just make a new one. it's freeing. i can and will talk about my theories for hisuian pokemon evolving in the modern day or the life stages of a koraidon or my own fucked up (positive connotations) characters or even fakemon. i have been in with this franchise since i was in middle school please god help me

you might even see some art, either of the good quality 'i actually grabbed my tablet' kind or silly little mspaint doodles. depends on the vibe and the vibe alone

Other fun tidbits in my and my friends' Pixelmon server!

I'm the region's 'professor', considering I'm a) absolutely batshit and b) am a feral fossil and Hisuian hunter. I have no interest in running a gym. I may or may not be a Zoroark. My starter was gifted to be a shiny Hisuian Zorua.

Everyone else in the server so far- so like. Three active people- are Gym Leaders :tm:. We all have 'signature legendaries'. Mine is Dialga, who I had to beg the server owner to replace the Shrine to get because it's a one use only and fixing the settings didn't work right. Hers is an Eternatus that she genned in because we had to restart the server after she caught it the first time. The flying GL has Rayquaza. She's also in the jungle trying to hunt down Mew and I'm helping.

We're having fun.

Was playing Pixelmon with a couple friends and I love that, for some reason, unless you configure it differently, you can only use a shrine to summon a legendary ONCE.

Like what are the theological implications? Does a shrine stop having power after someone uses it? Are the gods like "nah man not this one" afterwards? Can you give it power back by praying to it, or would it be fucked forever? The process of GETTING all the materials to summon God is already ridiculous enough, then you have to FIND the thing- I feel like at that point, the gods would just be "sure dude. You went through all that trouble."

Not like they're the real gods you're catching, anyway.
