Baszil, 2019
This piece was started not long after I’d started projecting Baszil. I didn’t get around to finishing it until the end of the year, though, and then forgot to share it. Hope you all like it! ^^

Baszil, 2019
This piece was started not long after I’d started projecting Baszil. I didn’t get around to finishing it until the end of the year, though, and then forgot to share it. Hope you all like it! ^^
Found the first doodles I did of Baszil last year! I think they’re pretty cute! ^^
Today (May 10th) is Baszil’s CIE Day!
It’s hard for me to comprehend that my first daemon has been around for a whole year now...time’s just flown by!
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first began trying to project my daemon...it was a bit of an experiment for me, after having dealt with so many instances of extreme loneliness in my life and just wanting some kind of presence I could feel at all times.
Baszil’s been a comfort, an adviser, a friend. She’s given me the opportunity to grow as a person through our interactions, we’ve had intimate conversations that likely wouldn’t be possible with anyone else.
Here’s to years to come together! Happy first year, Baszil!
I have some of my own thoughts to add. Thank you, Theo.
I agree, it’s hard to imagine that so much could happen in so little time...to me, it feels like we’ve been together for a while, and that may be true to some degree, but I’ve only been conscious of my own existence a mere year. I am eager for the experiences of the future.
I’ve also grown by leaps and bounds in my character...I can reflect back and be a little embarassed for who I was a year ago. I’m very glad for what I’ve learned.
What lies ahead is uncertain, but I’m ready to take it boldly and head-on. My journey has only just begun, and I see many bright days ahead.

“Adventure is out there!”
Hi hi hello everyone! It’s me and my daemons drawn to reflect a little bit of adventurey vibes, since I’m really interested in adventurecore rn! Also a quick little intro to the adventurecore tag here on Tumblr from me:
1 and 8 for the daemon ask if you're still doing it!
I will def still be doing these! ^^
1. Names and how they were found.
Pan’s name just sort of popped up, we’re not quite sure what inspired it at first. We came up with the full name “Panache” after doing some searching for a name that could be shortened to just Pan. Panache is a word that means “something done in a flamboyant manner”!
Baszil was a little trickier...we put a lot of thought into finding the perfect name. We wanted a name that stemmed from “Basil”, as it’s a name I’m fond of, but Baszil also wanted a bit more flair. After several attempts of mishmashing names together, we ended up with Baszilieatrix, a combo of Basil and Beatrix!
8. Describe their basic personalities.
Baszil has a pretty even temperament, and is the most rational out of the three of us. She’s very good at analyzing the situation and offering advice, and is an assertive decision maker. She is polite and proper, well-mannered, and a calming, friendly presence.
Pan is a louder personality, and freely shows his emotions. He’s playful and curious, eager to learn new things. He’s also very rebellious, but in an optimistic, enthusiastic way, and he’s a pretty good judge of right and wrong. He’s an empath, though, and is actually a little shy around others at times.
Daemon doodles!
Has anyone else done something like this with their daemons? Pan really wanted to try their hand at drawing, so the two of us kinda worked together to sketch something! You can see their drawings at the top of the page, a self-portait and a bonus doodle of Baszil!
We also convinced Baszil to try it out, and she went for a more realistic approach.
I think reference images would’ve helped...not a bad endeavor, though!
And then you have my own drawing style in the bottom left corner for comparison! :D
(I’m starting a tag for my blog called “daemon doodles”, you’ll be able to find more of their art there in the future!)
“I’ve got demons, running ‘round in my head.”
More drawings of me with my daemons aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
“Self Portrait”
Been wanting to do a piece like this for a little while! I took a break from my commissions and decided it’d be a good time to kick back and relax with a personal piece, and as I was sitting on the couch an image came to mind!
Featuring my two daemons, Baszilieatrix (the white cat) and Pan (the black feline...unsure of what he actually is).
