#bat!dream

Hey its me again:D just really curious about you bat au even if it was written years ago because I'm always late to everything:')

But also I'm curious about the types of bats the three are gonna be? Like you said in the original post with punz and Purpled having whire furr which would maybe put the as Honduran white bats and dream having white but also having the majority of his being black so he's maybe a panda bat?

As you can see, I'm very passionate about animals and Dsmp and anything that would mix them, which you are scratching that itch with the scraps you gave me

Oh my GOSH the babies <3 I've never seen a panda bat! The cutest little guy ever!

Anyway…originally, i believe i was going to have them all be honduran whites, but now i may change them to be panda bats : D

Dream and Punz definitely were going to be honduran white bats, bc i liked their color scheme for them.

Purpled, im still unsure about, bc one way or another i want his color/fur/wing scheme to have purple in it. Either it was going to be genetic mutation, an accident that permanently dyed him purple, or that he dyes it himself, and for 2/3 of those, he'd have to have white fur for the dye.

The panda bats are so cool…i might end up making them pandas xD

Also…to better scratch that itch, have some concept art I never posted : D (i drew these before i decided on the black and white coloring, btw)

Originally I bounced between making them more humanoid or more animalistic, and i believe the Punz design is one i actually liked. I still may change it, idk yet. I'll need to think more : D

Bat Dream

The thought has been plaguing me all day

So, he's a small bat hybrid

He's got two brothers: Punz, who is the oldest, and Purpled, who is the youngest

They all look more bat than human (cause I can't help but keep imagining them with tiny fuzzy snouts and huge fuzzy ears)

Dream has a bright white face and belly while the rest of his body is black; he has a lime green hoodie with slits for his wings, he has his mask, too

Punz is like an off white with small patches of black stripes,he's got his usual arm-striped hoodie and a small gold medalion

Purpled's fur was stained purple from a dye accident when he was younger; he thought is would be cool to have a purple hoodie that matched

They live with their colony

Their roost is in a cave by a mountain

Unfortunately, a bunch of humans wanted to use the cave, and they cleared the colony of bats and bat hybrids out with fire, burning them all indiscriminately

Punz, Dream, and Purpled have to watch as their friends and family are injured and burned to death by the humans

They have to escape with the few of their colony that doesn't die, but they get separated

Punz manages to stick with the remnants of the colony as they flee

Purpled flits off to the west, towards a desert

And Dream, badly burned, manages to flutter his way along the mountainside until he crashes into a tree and hangs there

But...he's more injured that he first thought, and he doesn't have enough strength to hang to the branch

He falls

Down and down...

And down...

and down...

...

..

.

Purpled, scared out of his wits and blinded by sheer panic, doesn't see the bright, glowing desert city until he's deep in it's heart

When his senses come back to him, he figures the best thing he can do is find shelter; he's completely lost and doesn't know what direction he came from

So he wings his way to the side of one of the huge buildings, where there seems to be a human-sized hole in the wall

He flies in, ignoring the strange machines lining one of the walls, and shoves himself into a crevice, where he can recuperate from the shock of losing his colony, his family, and his brothers in one fell swoop

...

Punz, when he realizes that his brothers are not with the remnants of their colony determinedly tells them that he's gonna try and go find his brothers

Any one who tries to stop him is snapped at with the vicious ferocity that only comes from fear for one's family

Punz leaves the colony with promises of return with his brothers, and searches, desperate to find any clue for where they may have gone, are what might have happened to them

Ask me stuff about this one! (I guess) : ) I have stuff in mind for it!

Where did bat!Dream ended??? He fall and fall but where did he ended up? 👀👀

The human below him had no idea what is was that had just smacked him against the head

George yelps, drawing the attention of his other two companions

They look around in confusion before Sapnap looks down, spotting what had hit George

George crouches and scoops it up, eyes wide

It's a bat hybrid! He didn't even know bat hybrids could exist!

He pokes and prods at the tiniest creature he's ever seen, nudging little arms and unfolding delicate wings

But then Bad points out that one of the wings looks bent, and it looks like the little guy is covered in horrible burns

So the three of them drop down to set up camp right there, in the middle of the afternoon, to try and help the poor, injured bat hybrid that George inadvertently found.
