Bat Lady
Today was a busy day doing a new nail set 👀 so I'm practicing my speedy traditional sketching and had another classical vampire lady drawn 💖💖💖 she's part bat 🦇🖤 ~Beann
Hog-Nosed Bat aka Bumblebee Bat
An artwork from last year, also unfinished.
My thoughts about Moana 2:
I liked Loto and Simea
The old man was pretty chill
Moni was kind of annoying
He only had one characteristic which was being obsessed with Maui
Moni just made me uncomfortable, I don't know why
The bat lady was.... weird, that's all I'm gonna say
I liked that Moana became a demigod, that was cool
The song Beyond was good
The rest of the songs were forgettable
The story lacked emotional depth that the first movie had
Sure Moana misses her sister and wants to get back alive which is realistic
But that was taken lightly and Maui's only response is a song basically saying "buck up, kid" and everything turns out fine
The adventure itself was cool
The visuals were gorgeous
This would have probably been better as a Disney + series which was the original plan for it
I kinda had to keep reminding myself that this is made for kids and not young adults and audiences because of the cheesiness
The guy who arrived at the island at the end of the movie and Moana had chemistry
Final thoughts: It was fine, not great but fine
In their defense the song writers had to top Lin Manuel Miranda which is not easy
They made do with what they had and made a turn off your brain movie
Redesign of my bat lady, Noctise
EDIT: changed some design stuff, I'm still figuring her out
Adrian Greensmith is so iconic for choosing Hunter and Spoon as his first main roles ✨ boy✨ is✨giving✨ us ✨range✨
