Terraria: The Pumpkin Moon
I just completed the Pumpkin Moon and it is pretty difficult. The first few waves are pretty easy but when that black tree boss comes it’s crazy.It’s attacks do insane damage and can shred through you! However, if your evasive enough, you can take him down pretty easily. Then comes the Pumpking who is the main loot boss of the event. He can take you down pretty quickly and his flaming scythe attacks are very damaging. A first, I was doing the event with a melee build but it wasn’t working. So I switched to a ranger build which worked much better as it did plenty of damage at a farther range. I think the main reason I wasn’t doing good with melee is was that I was using only the Paladin’s hammer and wasn’t evading much.
I did mange to get some pretty good loot though. What I managed to get is a candy corn rifle, stake launcher, and bat scepter. The bat scepter I haven’t used yet but the candy corn rifle is amazing for the first part of the event. The stake launcher is pretty good on the solar eclipse as well. All in all, all of these weapons are pretty good and the Pumpkin Moon is a fun but difficult event. Those are my thoughts on the Pumpkin Moon.
