SOLID WORK
BATBC bonus round!
Seriously thought I was done. That was until “Event Boy” James Brewer messaged me, told me we are putting bands on and needs a poster asap!
He sent me the logos, I fitted them on best I could, then I changed the gator for a giggle.
It’s ugly, but he wanted it fast, as in within the afternoon he messaged me. For my taste it has too much space around the logos, its not balanced.
However once again James was happy, so that is as much as I did.
It does the job at least.
INSITU
Final thing, contains everything it needs, its punchy, fun and is in relative time with the music.
I added a little clip at the end, which to the average human is a bit random, but to skateboarders everywhere its an internet sensation. Its fun.

Yeah its a visual nightmare, but this is skate comps for you.
Soooo, I have to make sure every brand and distributor is on the flyer, this in order to have everyone happy. Skateboard distros and brands are fiercely independent for the most part and so deal with sending prizes to an event pretty personally.
I have a feeling I’ll be changing some of these around and possibly adding more still.
But its coming together and “event overlord” Jamie Brewer is happy with it, thus I am too.
Insta-gratification
The Instagram ad needs to be a touch bolder than the A1 poster, due to the fact it will most likely be viewed on a phone.
I got rid of the chain detail around the edge, the event details are simplified and everything is obviously smaller.
Once again everything is there, it just needs the bloody sponsors.
