THE INK DEMON HEADCANNONS

PLATONIC

• This poor guy has trust issues

• Like REALLY BAD trust issues

• So it's very rare that anybody hears of the ink Demon sparing someone, none the less becoming friends with them

• If by some miracle this guy does somehow trust you enough to call you a friend, life in the studio is about to become a lot easier

• He'll stay with you most of the time, mostly because he has nothing better to do (Definitely not because he absolutely adores having your company /sarcastic)

• He'll follow you around the studio, scaring off anybody with bad intentions

• He'll get really happy if you hold his hand :)

• He will be very hesitant at the beggining of your friendship, but the more he gets to know you, the more confident he will be letting you know he cares

• It will go from him giving you a nod and walking away to him just throwing you on his back and yelling "ONWARD!"

• The more open he becomes, the goofier he will be

• So much so that eventually it will be like looking at the Bendy in the cartoons, but he's just a little bigger

• Oh yeah did I mention that this guy is like 8 feet tall

• Also he loves picking you up and carrying you around

• "Can you let me down please" "No we still need to go to BendyLand."

• If he's really happy he will literally run through the halls with you on his shoulders

• "SLOW THE FUCK DOWN" "*happy demon noises*"

• Overall it's really wholesome and thereputic for the big guy. It fills that void of loneliness he's had ever since he was born

• he'll snuggle up to you while you sleep just to make sure you're okay

• he really cares about you :)

ROMANTIC

• romance confuses this poor guy to no end

• He'll only start catching feelings after he trusts you,he wants to make sure you're not going to break his heart

• He isn't the kind of guy to say he loves you, rather, he'll express it through actions

• For example, pressing his face to your forehead and leaving an inky heart behind (he can't exactly kiss for obvious reasons)

• being in a relationship with him will pretty much be just as wholesome as your friendship, just with more cheesy stuff

• This mf is the cheesiest guy you will ever meet

• if you kiss him between his horns he will melt

Susie design‼️ I honestly love humanising BATIM characters <3 Makes their stories more tragic and human, I have some headcanons for her (Not many but still some! )

- Susie ‘Helen’ Campbell

- Dad was a butcher, her mother worked as a waitress in a diner.

- Her mother was Irish, Susie only ever visited Ireland once and that was when she was 8.

- Susie’s pretty good at cutting and cooking! (as her dad was a Butcher and sometimes teached her)

- She believes in fate, and that voicing Alice was leading her to somewhere much greater.

- Had a childhood pet fish that was named Alice, Susie loved her dearly (She lived for 2 years :c )

- Had a crush on Sammy... She thought it was leading somewhere (it sadly wasnt)

- She was introduced to Shawn(only because she was Irish) and they became great friends

(Half of these are probably non- time accurate, I love time accurate stuff however , I cant be bothered to research stuff rn 😞😞)

Haven't wrote in a while, especially not on here. Ain't gonna be top notch, but they're headacanons, so how much can I blow it?

• General •

• Her temper is like nothing you've ever seen, her reactions are so vehement and often her frustrations are sorely misdirected.

• She's extremely paranoid, whether you are somebody she has been acquainted with for a prolonged duration of time or a newcomer.

She's more likely to be extra cautious of the latter, for unspoken but understood reasons.

• She's quite a bitter person, rightfully so, but the ways in which she manages such feelings aren't anything somebody would recommend.

They're often violent... if not homicidal.

• When they're not people, she's quite the admirer of beautiful things, jewels, pretty dresses etc. She fancies them lots. After all, she's still a lady.

• She is deathly afraid when it comes to the possibility of running into the Big bad. So if she runs across you, you best be sure she'll try to draft you into doing errands and chores for her.

Not without whispering deals and promises in your ear to get you to comply though.

• She has deep-rooted and irreversible self esteem and self perception issues. Any reflective surface that she comes across and spots her reflection in, gets obliterated and smashed within seconds.

• It's best for you to not be quite stagnant in where your eyesight stays. Staring absolutely sets her off, she finds it disrespectful. And though she'll never admit it, makes her irrevocably self conscious.

She does find it amusing to watch your line of vision bounce and skip around vigorously in an attempt to appease her, though.

• She's selfish and self serving in a way that's beyond belief. Seeing as she is the way she is now after trusting somebody under false pretenses, she refuses to aid anybody.

• Vulnerability is something you couldn't beat her within an inch of her life into exercising. I'm serious, she'd probably rather die.

• No joke, despite what she views as disgraceful physical flaws and mutilation, she's extremely beautiful. Sharp, cutting eyes, soft yet pronounced cheekbones and a cupids bow.

She sells herself quite short, really.

• She only goes after toons or entities she views as "flawless" or one's that came out as intended, such as Boris, etc. Searchers and lost ones will be left alone as long as they know their rightful place (in her eyes).

• Humility that is practiced by others when they're around her is something she enjoys a lot, their silence occasionally accompanied by a whimper of fear.

What can she say? She likes it when people cower in fear of her, the feared are left alone. She needs no other distractions or obstacles.

• A workaholic, would rather drown herself in her studies and experiments than attempt to resolve whatever problems she has within herself.

• She would never be able to see it except in hindsight, but her insecurities lie in other things apart from her physical appearance.

It's just easier to dump all the issues she has with herself on something tangible and visible. Even if she ever did succeed in her attempts to fix her face, she'd still long to find herself or who she once was.

• Truly what she wants is just that one person that looks at her devoid of all fear and digust, even if exploiting those feelings that others have towards her have helped her survive.

She just wants a space where she can truly feel normal and have somebody who will offer her patience while she tries to perfect her experiments.

• Her feelings of disgust and anger go hand in hand. If something disgusts her, it angers her deeply. Also ties into her complex and how she views other beings in the studio as inferior.

• Tying into her superiority complex, if you run across her and she talks to you, she's very in tune with the "Alice angel" archetype. She'll stress how divine and ethereal she sees herself.

"Your silence is nothing less than disappointing, but I'll be gracious. After all, it's not everyday you see an angel."

• Extremely condescending and patronizing, but almost in a charming way? If you have feelings for her and you're delusional enough, the tone in which she talks down to you can almost seem flirtatious or as if she's teasing you.

• Romantic •

• When I say slow burn, I mean it. This isn't a 2 month, 5 month thing. I'm talking maybe 2 or more years for her to even be content with thinking she might feel something more for you.

• She doesn't accept half-tailing things, she wants to see complete devotion and praise from you.

Though her self-sabotaging tendencies and skepticism wouldn't fully allow it, she wants to believe you live for her and solely her.

• Speaking of self-sabotage, that'd sum up your guy's relationship in one second. Her trust issues and habit of distancing herself makes the relationship a hassle, it'd just be an entire game of push and pull.

And if you leave her because of it (good luck), it'd be a self fulfilled prophecy and would just affirm her paranoia and lack of trust.

• Because she likes you, she's even more sparing about how much she lets you see the mangled side of her face. She's afraid you'll reach some epiphany or realization and leave her out of disgust.

• Assurance is a big thing that would need to be prioritized in your guy's relationship, you'd have to constantly tell her you're there for her and that she's beautiful.

Of course, it's a bandaid on a metaphorical oozing, throbbing wound and you'll need to do it all over again tomorrow.

• She isn't big on crying, especially not around others. The most you'll get is an episode where she gets distant and isolates herself.

If she cries in front of you she'll get annoyed and angry with herself. At points she'll feel bad for said aforementioned episodes and apologize.

• Extremely possessive and overprotective, she needs to monitor you and your every action at every point of every day.

She has an extreme irrational (irrational due to the extent) fear that you'll just up and go right from under her nose.

• If she even has the slightest inkling that you want to or you've alluded to wanting to leave her, she'll black out. The reigns will get even tighter and you won't be able to go on errand runs by yourself.

• Though she enjoys her solitude at times, you guys are connected at the hip. She'll hover continuously without ceasing. Trying to make sure you're still completely devoted to her and her cause.

• She has anger issues, and that doesn't just stop because you've entered her life. If she feels frustrated with her work or appearance, she'll blow up at you abruptly with little to no justification.

For these outbursts, rarely will you get an apology. Whether that be because she's ashamed of acting out in such a way and she wants it to smooth over, or she finds no fault in behaving in such a manner.

• She honestly has a love-hate relationship with you, especially if you're extremely conventionally attractive. She fluctuates between being left in awe and just wanting to rip your face off out of pure jealousy.

And the harvest would be quite plentiful.

• If you do happen to express you want to break things off, bless your heart. There might be no calming her down, not until you get to the 50th "OK, I didn't mean it, I'll stay. I mean it, I want to."

She'll test out tools and serums and concoctions on you throughout the entire process until she cools down. Or until you agree to stay with her after being broken down.

• Occasionally, she'll have her moments where she's affectionate, like she'll give you kisses on your forehead unexpectedly or sneak up behind you and give you a hug.

• If she's bummed out about her face, you're the only one she'll permit to try to soothe or be around her. Even then, it's best to be careful with what you do and say to her during this time.

After all, she's already in a pretty vulnerable state and if she feels you've mishandled her, it'll take eons to be able to earn that trust back before you see her like that again.

• She's very open about her experiments with you, she likes to show off her newly harvested organs or her progress. Newfound discoveries are always celebrated between you two.

After all, she's proud of her labour, she's a hardworking woman.

• Sometimes her delving into her work so much in an attempt to fix her... issue, she'll neglect you. After she realizes at like, the dead of night or you bring up to her, she'll apologize and come to bed.

"I'm sorry, love. It's just everything's been so daunting lately, I'm just trying to figure it out. 5 more minutes and I'll be there, I promise."

• Not the biggest user of unorthodox or unconventional pet names. She'll call you stuff like "love", "darling" and occasionally, "cherub."

• Definitely wouldn't be the healthiest of relationships, realistically. She has a lot of internal problems that can't be fixed by environmental or outside factors.

If you bring up the way how she's acting is affecting you, on a good day she'll try to make you empty promises of getting better. On most days, she couldn't care less, that is if she doesn't just outright becoming outraged at such a proclamation.

Anyway, this one pic of Sam-sam and Boris from Joey's sketches has haunted me cause it's damn cute. So I thought it would be interesting see the proud music director teach how to play the clarinet to Boris, and see, It's funny whether you headcanon Boris as Wally or as Buddy. I think Sammy as teacher would be strict, like a very precise and no-nosense piece of brick, but able to teach you splendidly and is very very very patient.

Also it's so obvious that I don't know shit about music, this is embarrassing.

Well, I have a lot of headcanons. and they're all about sammy. so let's go

I like to think that Sammy is autistic, mainly because I'm autistic too. and I noticed several characteristics in sammy that are similar to mine. such as mood changes, or the character's repetitive behaviors

he is also visually impaired, and has monocular vision. and this means that he has vision in only one eye, while the other is blind. and I believe that Sammy's colleagues have already noticed that he bumps into walls, doors, or objects. but they never asked why. probably for fear of making him embarrassed or angry

also, i like to think that sammy is a trans man. because, well, I'm trans, and most of his fans are too

Now the silly headcanons:

— Sammy usually counts his own steps, especially at work

— he has a habit of waving his own hands when he is happy or nervous

— he has difficulty understanding and interpreting sentences, mainly because he doesn't understand when a sentence is serious or ironic

— he is not American, but his parents moved to America when he was still little. and he never felt like going back to the place where he was born

Note: he is Latino

— he has hyperfocus on music and musical instruments

— Sammy can't stay in a room with a lot of people for long, mainly because the noises and voices make him nervous and overwhelmed

— no one knows, but he carries a Bendy plush in his backpack whenever he goes to work at the studio

— Joey is the only person who calls him "Samuel" or "Lawrence". but sammy prefers to be called just sammy

— he never cut his hair, because, even though long hair is considered feminine, Sammy likes the feminine characteristics that exist in it

— he is bisexual and ace

— he is married to someone from the studio, but no one knows who that person is

So when you say Henry's ideas were a lot different than what Joey ended up doing, are you saying Henry is Hungarian?

Wow I didn’t know people were still keeping up with that. 😅But I’m glad!

Henry himself is of unknown lineage being an orphan and all. But when he was 12, he was adopted by an elderly woman who was Hungarian and a widow to a German Jew, hence “Stein”. She shared lots of folklore and stories which Henry absolutely loved and influenced his art for years to come. Especially the ördogs, aka devils. In fact, if it wasn’t for her, he probably wouldn’t have pursued art like he did as she was incredibly supportive of his potential.

Sadly, he only stayed with her for about 2 years before she died. He kept the Stein surname in honor of her and her husband, and built his art style after the folkart from her home.
