Dear #savebendy ,
theMeatly posted this comment 23 hours ago on DAGames’ video “WHY AM I SO SCARED?! | BENDY CHAPTER 2 SONG EXPLANATION | DAGames“
I know this video and the comment aren’t directed at the #savebendy movement, but I still wanted to share it with you. And I also don’t want to put any words in theMeatly’s mouth, I only want to show you and point out some things... #savebendy spreads toxicity and hate. It suppresses people’s creativity and imagination. Exactly the opposite of what theMeatly wants, as you can see! I follow him on Twitter as well and see him retweet art his fans have created ...
That isn’t always canon!
Or just simply shitposts people made that are BATIM related.
Or Cosplays! AMAZING COSPLAYS!
Humanized versions of the characters!
Drawings made by younger people that aren’t that good yet! But we believe in them!
He retweets music videos and covers!
Heck, some of the art I saw him retweet could even be slightly shippy(AlicexBendy) But of course I don’t want to say it actually IS ship art, in case the artists do not like that. Just because Alice and Bendy are portrayed in the same picture doesn’t make it ship art! And I have yet to find art that includes OCs, but I doubt that theMeatly has anything against OCs based on his game! I DOUBT IT HARD!
None of that stuff is “cringy” as some following the #savebendy movement might say. All these people put effort into the things they make and they are passionate about it. They burn... they soar! Okay, maybe not the shitposts. But everyone needs a laugh once in a while ;)
And with that, all I have left to say is: Drown out the hate and...
#BATIMFOREVERYONE CREATE ART! MUSIC! ALTERNATE UNIVERSES! SCULPTURES! FANFICS! YOUR OWN CHARACTERS! ANIMATIONS! ADULT ORIENTED WORKS! I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU DO! JUST CREATE! BE CREATIVE! USE YOUR IMAGINATION!
And most of all...
Also check out DAGames’s Youtube channel and Let’s Plays :) I’m sure he’ll appreciate it! He also puts effort into creating entertaining content for everyone! Not only music! :)
This needs to stop NOW
Okay now I didn’t wanted to bring this topic again to my blog...BUT WHAT THE HECK?! ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS GUYS?!
Friends of mine, people that I admire, are getting constant hate, hate that they don’t deserve. And I’m not saying just because they’re my friends. Nobody deserves to be told things like the ones I’m seeing. Messages threatening them, wanting them dead, wanting serious bad things for them... This isn’t fair. But I’m not just talking about what’s fair or not. What really makes me feel sick, are the people behind those words. Twisted, sick people who find in the internet annonimus state a free land to let out all the evil they have inside. People who plays with other’s people’s emotions, like they were toys, or just words in a screen like there wasn’t a person behind them. This people deserve a lesson, but not just to be hated back...but learn in real life how wrong are they doing. Do you seriously think this is funny, you motherfucker? You could be killing a person with your words, not because you are a super powerful god, of course not. But because your words can be mixed with others from other motherfuckers just like you, plus ...you know, life? What all alive creature has? Do you really think you have the power to say things without consecuences?...or maybe it’s worst. Maybe you know THERE’S consequences, and that’s why you do it. You want them dead, you want them to be raped to death, you want them to kills themselves, you want them unhappy, you want for them all the bad in the world, just because you are a small immature little child and they don’t do what you want, or say what you want...or maybe just because it’s funny for you. You are an small maniac phsycopath, aren’t you? This post isn’t directed by a single person. Sadly, this kind of people are some sort of plague in the internet, and several of them are in the BATIM fandom for some reason. Oooh, if your parents knew what are you doing and saying to others...they would be so ashamed. Because being like you, is a disgrace. Have raised somebody like you, is a disgrace. I feel sorry for your poor parents. But also I hope they know what you are doing and give you the slap that you deserve. You’ll be unhappy your entire life. Because you need to make other people suffer to make you feel powerful, or good in a really twisted and sadistic way. If you don’t change, you’ll never find happynes. You’ll be only surrounded by people as destructive as you, and guess what? They won’t be your friends, because you’ll try to destroy each other constantly. You’ll never find true friendship or true love and you’ll die alone as the garbage you are. I know this post is hard to read, but there’s some things this people needs to read. If you feel offended by this post because you feel identified, you’re more than free to unfollow me. #Batimpossitivity #Batimforeveryone #Tumblrfreeofhate
A Tangent about Tags;
Everyone is different. People have come from all walks of life; different backgrounds, upbringings, trials and tribulations they have gone through, things others can’t possibly comprehend happening to them. Because of that, certain materials may be triggering to others.
Now I know that Tumblr makes fun of the word “triggers”, but it’s a really big deal. They can cause flashbacks to events in the past that caused someone trauma, panic attacks, or worse. To avoid this as much as possible, it is important to tag your content if it contains any material that may cause discomfort or trigger others.
Creators: This doesn’t mean police yourself or restrict what content you put out there. All it means is to label it so that if someone has blacklisted a particular tag (nsfw, tw, tw: [insert trigger here], etc.), , it doesn’t show up on their dash. This helps keep it out of the main tag, and away from younger viewers (This is a video game, so there is a large possibility that minors follow the game and its content)
Fans: Every fandom needs fans, right? Even people who don’t create things are a vital part of the community. Think that game/show/series is the heart and brain, the creators form the skeleton, and the fans are the other organs. They all need each other to exist. If content disturbs you, there are steps you can take to reduce the chances of you coming into contact with that content:
1) Download xkit or other Tumblr add-ons that allow you to blacklist certain tags. This prevents anything with that tag from appearing on your dash.
2) POLITELY AND RESPECTFULLY ask content creators to tag their work if some parts of it disturbs you. Like a creator and their work, but some of their pieces are NSFW and they all have it on one blog? Be nice, and ask if they can tag it for you so those pieces in particular will be hidden, or request a disclaimer on their blog that their work contains certain themes if they do not have one already. The key here is to be nice and polite - it goes a long way. Take every measure to handle it in private; messages are far more welcome than a public post, and creators appreciate the chance to resolve any potential problems in private!
3) Don’t like what an artist or writer puts out there at all, and it is extremely triggering to you? Unfollow and block them. Contrary to popular belief, this is not rude! No creator wants you to be uncomfortable and upset by their work, and there is no shame in unfollowing them and blocking them. This is not personally against them, nor does it need to be. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TELL THEM YOU ARE DOING SO. No nasty ask, no callout post, nothing. Just leave - do your thing and move on. You are in charge of your happiness and well-being, and if that helps, make the parting painless on both sides and move on.
Doing these, both content creators and fans alike can enjoy this fandom and it can be a safe, fun place for everyone!!
TL;DR:
Creators, please tag your work and be open to requests from fans to tag your works. Fans, download xkit or other programs, politely ask creators to tag their work, and unfollow and block creators without a fuss if their work bothers you.
Above all, be polite, be respectful, and this fandom will be an amazing place.
Thank you all for reading!

Went back through theMeatly’s Twitter to check, I don’t think I need to tell you that this is indeed fake. I didn’t doubt it, but still wanted to be 110% sure I know what I talk about.
On the 27th of May, 2017, theMeatly retweeted some art, tweeted about Cheetos, tweeted a quote from his game, tweeted about #gamedev, asked people if they have any plans since it’s saturday, retweeted #gamedev things other people are #gamedev’ing, retweeted more art, and that’s all. (Plus, I have to sadly add that NONE of his posts around that day have that many retweets or likes. I think none of his posts in general do... So anyway, this is fake.)
Respect Original Characters:
OCs are an art form, like anything else.
It takes a lot of effort to think of a character, their personality, their responses and reactions, what makes them tick. All too often, we find that we put pieces of ourselves inside our characters, give them a life and vitality of their own. They become an extension of ourselves, yet different in some aspects to make them unique.
OCs are made for the enjoyment of the creator, and it’s no lie when the creator wants to share their OC with everyone. It is their child, their baby, something they’re proud of and want to see grow and develop. OCs are as diverse as the people who create them, and that shows and it’s wonderful.
Would you want someone to come along and bully and talk shit about and make your child feel worthless? You wouldn’t stand for that, would you?
So why do it to others, why rip apart and degrade what someone has worked so hard to create? Because you don’t like their art style? You think that they should act a certain way? Because you want the artist to bend to your every drawing whim, attempting to draw what you want without a thought of the artists’ concern or free time or comfort level, and then get pissy when they refuse and try to stay true to themselves and their character?
If you want a character to say or do something, try and see if the artist has commissions open and pay them. Writers, too, as I know some are kind enough to do requests for readers. More to the point, don’t go ripping apart someone and their character because you don’t like it or the ship it’s in or the clothes it’s wearing, whatever. Someone has put time and effort and love into their OC, and we were all there at one point: making up characters, making up adventures for them, being ourselves and expressing ourselves and enjoying ourselves. That’s the goal here, to have fun.
Show some love to someone’s OC. Complement the art style, the dialogue, the clothes they wear, the eye color, the fangs, WHATEVER. A kind word can make someone’s day, and encourage them to make more content and do what they love. Every OC has a right to make a mark and every creator has a right to have fun in this fandom, always.
