She almost objected, she didn’t actually need to rest at the moment. It wasn’t worth it to argue. She found a place to lean up against the wall. “There’s not a lot of preparing left to do,” she said, leaning back to rest her head against the wall. “They’re Ex-KGB, we’ll be lucky if the snow stops them,” she said, “It wouldn’t have stopped me. It might be better to just ... make our stand here.”

he makes mistakes. writers are too goddamn weenie for him to face them so they have to write barbara hitting him with his mistakes

don’t whine charlie, we love bruce, dinah loves bruce. neeway, he makes mistakes for sure but he does act as if he doesn’t. he’s still a little arrogant towards both hal & ollie.

         It didn’t affect him, not the way it did others. The cold. Even in his ignorant bliss, Clark knew it was biting ---- supposed it clung past Kevlar, skin and deep into Bruce bones. A storm in the works; winds howling and snow blanketing Gotham fiercely. Perhaps not the most ideal situation, even for Batman. Yet that doesn’t stop him; it never did. When the Bat rises to face him, Clark’s broad shoulders relax. 

He isn’t empty handed. The question draws a smile and a shrug, oh so casual. Then he hands it out toward him, the coffee --- fresh, and steaming.  ❝ Would it be disappointing, if that’s all it was? ❞ Just a visit. Typically there was a motive, a need, and regardless of what Clark’s true intentions were ---- whatever help he’d needed, it could wait.  ❝ It’s going to get worse, you know,❞ he nudges off toward the city, the snow.  ❝ Worse than what the news suggests. So...just be extra careful. ❞ Was there a point to his advice? Any reason to ask him to turn in early? Probably not. Bruce did whatever Bruce wanted.

the thing is that dick is a full grown man.  a full human adult that has his own apartment and buys groceries sometimes.  and yet somehow, as soon as that cape lands around dick’s shoulders, he feels like he’s nine years old again, curled up against bruce’s side when the wind was biting and he refused to stay home.  he pulls it a little tighter around himself.  ❛ we could be doing this from the batmobile, that’s all i’m saying. ❜ can’t let bruce get too much leverage. // @batmasday & cont.
