What's your thoughts on Adridami( Adrien/Damian
It’s cute and I would be way more interested in the ship if hadn’t been proposed as a counter-movement to Maribat. Spite ships are amazing but they have this weird tendency to make the people you’re trying to spite less than impressed with it. Who knew?
But! While I personally have no real interest in writing it, I do think it’s a cool take on a Dc MLB crossover. I could see setting up the relationship with a similar dynamic to Jon/Damian, where Adrian is a source of constant sunshine and warmth. I’d be interested in some platonic bonding featuring Damain’s obsessive need to adopt every stray he comes across, an unsuspecting Adrien included.
The only thing that makes me kinda iffy about the ship is that unlike Jon, Adrian is passive as hell when it comes to asserting himself with people he cares about. He’s a peacekeeper and I just don’t see him being able to challenge Damian the way he needs to. Adrien would be much more inclined to keep quiet in order to avoid an argument and, well, if you’re not careful it’s a co-dependent mess.
Though now that I’m thinking of Adrien (Adribat, BatNoir?) pairings, Jon/Adrien would be adorable. The world would not be able to handle their combined warmth. Damian would falter.
Dick/Adrien.....The puns. Honestly, could you imagine the two together? I kinda want to plop season 1 YJ Dick into ML and have him shamelessly flirt with Chat Noir for in-tell. They’d use the worst pick up lines in Creation and be weak for it.
Hmm, Jason/ Adrien has very strong hurt-comfort potential. And you could make some pretty impressive parallels between the two. They’re a road to recovery pair for sure and I would focus a fic around Adrien learning that sometimes people hurt you and the best thing to do is to cut them out, while Jason learns that sometimes you need to forgive and move on. The whole thing would be a mess, a mess that could be conveniently and accurately summed up with Daddy-Issues.
Tim would remind Adrien a lot of Ladybug and I’m drawing a really big blank on what I would want to do with a relationship between him and Adrien.
