I'm a math major and I draw. STEM majors require more intelligence and creativity than those idiots are capable of, as they use the very same Apple products that combine STEM and creativity.

i mean i'm not gonna criticize anyone else's major (unless you're an undergrad business major because like why?? calm down calvin coolidge) but the misconceptions that a) creativity only flourishes in majors that fall under the traditional definition of art and b) if you're a STEM major you're not allowed to have artistic hobbies are ridiculous and every time i see that ridiculous comic of that graduation speech (i'm sure you've seen it) on my dash i wanna throw a rock at my laptop

i genuinely can't think of anything that would be less feasible than this, dude; the only place i could reasonably move would be north carolina and even then my mobility, social life, etc. would be subject to the whims of basically the most unstable person i know

Word. I was just thinking of this today, and how to articulate the difference between PoC who would rather not date white people vs. white people who have preferences….Very well written, and I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Thank you!! It is really hard for me to explain the difference but I think with a lot of PoC, particularly women, there's also a fear of being fetishized and I don't think that's something most white people would even think about when it comes to dating PoC.

(it's just really funny to me because the vocalist for touché amoré, jeremy bolm, is one of the few relatively popular male musicians i know of whom i've seen actively calling out misogyny and yet his fans do this shit so much)
