More Bannerlord scenes. The siblings meet their new Sturgian companions. ❄ This in-game faction seems to be inspired by Kievan Rus (and some Norse) culture. I've used a painting of Olga of Kiev and an embroidered cloth called Rushnyk/Nabozhnyk in the background.
My main character is small and other NPCs from those areas are usually tall. It's the funniest thing to see her among friends and enemies, tiny and heavily armored. Hi-res + progress shots in Patreon to Tier2+ folks ♥
Bannerlord Battanian siblings 💚
I've been playing this game I love and my in-game clan/family name is Popo. 😬
I picked it for silly reasons, but the dog banner grew on me and I came up with a background story in which their clan was born after an enemy lord killed a harmless family dog — Popo.
The gold & black crying banner is Popo, which also represents families seeing loved ones lost to petty fights. The brothers are close-knit and somewhat popular in villages due to the appeal of their story.
Their weakness is to resist doing something reckless or dumb — thus falling in the same unnecessary bloodshed cycle — to enact revenge.
So far they've become:
• Local legends in winning tourneys, owning businesses, and saving peasants and caravans from their deaths;
• Sort of nomadic until they found a more permanent home in the snow of Sturgia;
• Eventually they found a young and poor Sturgian clan and married their members. Niasen's fiancée is a warrior lady named Svana (lower left), and Yara's husband (Lek, grinning guy below) took a break from wars to form a caravan.
Free time: I should rest
or draw my Battanian siblings from Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
Crazy how literally all it takes to shut down a Battanian army is a shield wall and cavalry.
"But muh Fians bro" good luck, I'm behind seven Sturgian shield walls and at least four crossbow firing lines.
we've come way to the end of the journey guys.. the final episode (for now) of my Battania Campaign is here Episode 50 of Mount And Blade 2 Bannerlord
