Well, my 8th grade english teacher gave me a copy at the end of the school year because I was his favorite student, and he was like "This is my favorite book, and series, and I know you're smart enough to understand this and probably like it." And I tried reading it, I honestly did, but I was only like 12/13, and I was starting to get into Twilight, and long story short I couldn't get into it so I never read it. Then I sold it to one of the kids in my class last year. Then my first semester of college (2012) our teacher made us read Ender's Shadow and do analytical shit with it, and I loved it, and I read it with my dad, and he loved it, and then I re-bought Ender's Game and we loved that, too, and well, here we are now.
