I REALLY enjoyed the Haikyuu movie and had to sketch a Kenma to celebrate 🏐🎮
Knife fight 🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪
some tsukishima crumbs for you
I was listening to ‘Otomodachi’ by Phantom Siita and the suddenly had to draw this. Weeks after I’ve watched the movie I’m still possessed by the kenhina gods.
Do we have an international release date yet!?? Please I'm dying😫🫨😱
haikyuu movie spoilers:
i truly missed this panel of caged kageyama because, just like hinata, he was feeling trapped without the possibility of making points with him. it shows how much tobio grew on the court and is aware of the conditions of his teammates, he gets them more, he feels what they feel, and if one of them can't spike at the moment, he feels immobilized, too.
thankfully, we got glimpses of ukai giving advice to kageyama, and when he exchanges glances with shoyo to see if he is on point, he realizes that yes: he is more than ready to give his 100%
another important panel they added shows how tobio deeply knows the importance of his role on the court. "breaking the walls so the spikers can get through it", he knows that he must do everything possible so his teammates can fly, so that the whole team can soar and win together
he knows the importance of stopping and breathing, he knows the importance of slowing down a bit, and he does it for shoyo. tobio gives him time to breathe, he gives him the set he loves and says "there! fly!" as if to say: i know you can do it, so just go.
it's a symbol of trust, a demonstration that kageyama trusts hinata and that he knows they can change the pace of the game, no matter the speed. following the lessons he was taught about his jumps, hinata runs and trusts kageyama so he can go all out on that special, high set.
kageyama and hinata aren't prisoners of speed anymore, they have more weapons to fight together and with the mutual trust they have in each other, they both manage to escape that cage and achieve the long-awaited victory, showing to kenma that yes, volleyball is truly fun ❤️
the birdcage scene was everything, i loved seeing hinata flashbacks with all the steps he took until he could understand that he can really really fly even higher 🧡
