Love how in the pokemon universe the literal balance of nature is periodically upturned by the gods of the land/sea/time/space/light/sun/moon/etc plunging the world into chaos and without fail the strongest trainers in the land sequester themselves in a tower/subway station/tree/factory/mansion and resolutely go "nope, not getting out of this chair"

Back with the Train Chatelaines and Battle Maison twins.

Imagining a scenario where the twins visit Unova to try out the Battle Subway and somewhere in the middle of everything all six of them just end up chilling and talking about trains and such.

The time comes for a train to depart, and the four Chatelaines all give their own version of "All aboard!" as they like to do when they're together -- Morgan has a steady and strong voice, Dana has excellent volume but sounds aggravated, Evelyn is the quietest and has an unsteady voice, Nita's voice is loud but high because she hasn't quite mastered projecting from her chest yet -- before turning to the twins and saying, "now you try."

The twins glance at each other.

Ingo takes a deep breath.

Emmet plugs his ears, and the sisters are confused for all of two seconds as to why.

There’s only one person she could possibly be talking about here, oh my God. Who else do we know who does Doubles as a specialty and has odd speech patterns, hmmm?

I thought the designs from the subway masters costume train were cute enough to make into stickers so here is a transparent sticker version :)

Inspired by this post by @chipsncookies I was struck by the thought. What if instead of both the double battle aces getting left behind, it was Evelyn who got isekai-ed of the battle Chatelaines.

I imagine that after a while it becomes clear that Emmet Can't run the battle subway by himself despite Trying. Maybe it's people above them- maybe the sad train man crashes and burns entirely and gets forced out of his subway and doesn't have any other option. But in any case they need to team up. No one is happy about it- some more obviously than others. But needs must.

(Plus. I mean can you imagine doing the double challenge expecting Evelyn at the end but getting Mr. "I Like Winning More Than Anything" instead)
