Planning a wedding, it isn’t in the least easy at all. You would think that the tips her sister had given her would at least make her calm her nerves a but, she was a perfectionist to say the least. With her hectic schedule, and Jason working down at the Performance Center every day, it was hard for the two to actually sit down and at least try to get things done together. Most of the time, Nikki just set things aside, and let her business take over her life a day at a time. Not a good idea if she was looking to get married in a couple of months. If only she would just cave and get a wedding planner, but the stubborn person she was just wouldn’t let her be great and do something she should’ve did a long time ago.
Not being in Florida for the past couple of weeks she had definitely started to miss Jason more and more. She was in Arizona spending some time with her sister along with Birdie, for the simple fact that Birdie Bee was keeping her busy all days of the week. That was the life she had signed up for when she decided to go into business with her sister. She couldn’t run things on her own, but Nikki could use a break away from all the stress. She was putting work before her fiancé and she knew that all too well because it had happened to her in her last relationship. Putting business before your significant other couldn’t be good for any relationship.
Luckily for her, she was finally on her way home, with the week off. No press, no brand meetings, nothing. Just a week of relaxation that was needed. Arriving home, she hadn’t seen Jason’s car in the driveway. Guessing he was still at the Performance Center, she just went into the house and waited for his arrival. Hopefully he would be as happy to see her as she was of course.
