"Ah, yes, the naive one. I've been told you wish to do more; for your planet, for your pitiful lot of comrades. I've heard the whispers of the child who wants to lead. You don't have what it takes to master the art of war; not now, not against a REAL player. But maybe you will." Dark, low chuckling could be heard, hard like rust grinding. "Oh, I wonder what /horrors/ lurk in your future, young hedgehog. I'm sure we'll find out soon enough." from robotnik @ ames
@battlefcrgcd / i’ll show you who’s weak.
This isn’t the monster she knows.
Amy knows Eggman, of that much she’s certain. He’s killed her at least once — more, if we count by association. She’s stopped him more times than she can count. But this isn’t —— this isn’t him. He reminds her of BEFORE. Of when she was young and he went by a different name. He’d always frightened her more back then. ( frightens her still. he took sonic from her. ) But this isn’t Eggman.
Something is very, very wrong.
Her hammer’s materialized in her hands without a moment’s pause, and she swings it over her shoulder — if he tries ANYTHING, she’ll make him regret it.
“Don’t call me naive,” she spits at him, wide eyes narrowing. Her grip tightens. Don’t listen to him, Amy. He’s just trying to get under your skin. ( it’s working. she’s so afraid that she isn’t enough. ) “I was strong enough to END A WAR, so I think that counts for something. I’m not afraid of you. Or your threats.”
