I headcanon this as him in Asqalan. He liked to go there especially in the later moments because the sea water made him feel a little better. Probably could breathe better thanks to it. ❤️‍🩹

Zofia Kossack was a Polish writer and journalist. She wrote a trilogy about crusades and the second part is about Baldwin! Welp maybe it isn't a fanfiction but a historical novel ...

Now I need to find it somewhere and read. Reportedly it isn't that great of a book but nevetherless...
