Nearly Four Years Ago ... these four freshmen paused to pray on the hill between the Ad building and our home. I remarked then how impressive it was to see this. In one month the first student, Josue Chan from Guatemala and the fourth student, Sahid Chalacan from Ecuador will graduate, November 14. Bibles for Graduates Instead of Family Christmas Gifts. Each year individuals give to the graduates as they leave for mission and ministry roles all across Latin America. One Oklahoma family is gifting the graduates with college rings, while this Alabama family continue their 5-year tradition of providing Bibles for the graduates. “Only 2 months left until I can say, Thank God!” I led off my 2019 presentation for the Southgate Church in San Angelo, TX with a video of Linette expressing gratitude. Linette Josefina Perez, mother of two boys, will soon graduate and head with her husband, Jose, to Colombia and work in Baxter’s 18th mission team in Latin America. She and her husband are in their 40s and have brought much maturity to the student body.
