Today we had the privilege of listening to Dr. Joe and Teresa Bryan in our daily devotional. Joe has worked in medicine for 40 years and for the last month and a half him and Teresa have been helping at Baxter’s clinic and around campus! This is their year to volunteer here. When asked why they dedicate their time now to service and missions, Teresa stated that there is much more joy found in serving than just going out and having fun every day. Additionally, Joe commented that they want to make a difference for the future and he knows that working with and encouraging both Baxter students and medical students will do that. At the end of the devotional Dr. Xiomara from the institute and the clinic presented them a plaque as a thank you for their service and dedication to Baxter and its clinic.
