Take note, everyone: “bayag” is not a PG-13 word.

The best thing about this one is that it tells a whole story. The MTRCB told the producers that they had to take out the offending word if they didn’t want to get slapped with an R-13. The producers PLEDGED to remove the word from the movie. The MTRCB saw the movie again, and was pleased to find that their all-powerful word was heeded.

I’ll note that Transformers 4 was given a G rating, and that was a film that featured a bunch of people getting killed, at times in horrific ways. But I guess Optimus Prime didn’t say “bayag” at any point, so I guess we’re okay.
