Hi all, please join several members of BAQWA on Saturday April 30th for our reading at Hayward’s first annual Lit Hop! We will be reading from several of our different works at Books on B; 1014 B Street, (Main & Foothill) Hayward, CA. at 4pm. This is a free event, all welcome, although we ask you to please wear a mask and bring your vaccine card. This is a literary festival all over downtown Hayward, in honor of National Poetry Month and National Independent Bookstore Day, where different writing groups will perform one hour each of poetry or prose at various downtown venues. The festival begins at 2pm at the Hayward downtown library where the city will announce its first teen poet laureate, then moves outdoors to nearby Heritage Plaza for a Ballet Folklorico show and further readings. Different venues will then open up for readings of one hour each between 4pm and 7pm. At 7pm the Sun Gallery will host an afterparty!
