I am currently working on a series of images that illustrate Yiddish proverbs and witticisms, to be displayed on the “Culture Board” at Baycrest geriatric hospital and retirement residences, as a part of Jewish Heritage Month. Some of the expressions included in this project are:
"Words should be weighed, not counted."
"The sun shines on everyone for free."
"It’s a storm in a glass of water."
"A lion is not afraid of a fly."
"Even the most expensive clock has no more than sixty minutes."
