Leaftail and Hallowflight need to kiss ok. I need Leaftail to be soooo pissed that Hallowflight had the zooms that it turns into "stupid sexy hallowflight". I need Leaftail to be FUMING in his nest going "ough im gonna find Hallowflight on the edge of the territory and im gonna show that stinky riverclan cat how a REAL cat runs. Im gonna sit him down and show off and the moonlight is gonna be so pretty and I bet his pelt would look pretty in that light." I need Windclan to think Leaftail fucking hates this man but instead its just Leaftail gaslighting himself into believing its perfectly hetro-normal to lie in bed thinking about another man's eyes.

Leaftail at Hollowflight. He thinks this is normal.

(Hallowflight's canon counterpart dies in OotS and Leaftail has never done anything significant ever, this is a totally blank canvas for BB)

I need to know how this factors in with Hallowflight's wife, like, is Leaftail sitting in the kitty wedding reception seething? Does fighting your nemesis count as making them cheat on their wife? is this a quadrant filled Does that make him want to fight him even more

What if Hallowflight meanwhile was absolutely oblivious. "I'm being invited on a tour of WindClan by my friend who loves to run very fast :) BUT I will not hold back in the next battle! We are always crossing claws, and he's a marvelous opponent. I admire him."

Lakeheart is the first to realize Leaftail's crush and just sits back with popcorn for a bit. She plans to bring it up eventually, but also she finds it too funny not to enjoy for a bit. Its the opposite of "they seem like very good friends" where Hallowflight is like "we r very good friends :)" while wearing the wedding ring Leaftail hate-made for him that visit. And Lakeheart has to sit there containing her laughter like "oh!! how sweet, a ring! was it a date?" and Hallowflight just goes "No its a ring, not a fruit?"

Hallow: "My name is sappho and this is my friend :)"

Leaftail: "JUST YOU WAIT ILL WIPE THAT SMUG LOOK OFF YOUR FACE. I'LL SHOW YOU..."

Hallow: "Show me what? I'd like to see, you are always such a gracious host and I enjoy my time with you."

Leaftail: "HrrrrrrGHH"

Lakeheart: "I could probably fix them. But having a first row seat to whatever's wrong with them is so, so much more interesting."

She can't even tell if it's an act on Hallowflight's behalf or not, like if he really is just that oblivious or if it's an act. She's got a personal bet going on that it's an act.

Hallow can be a really smart guy, and even very vindictive (that's why he joined the Dark Forest after all, to get back at Troutstream and Mossyfoot who were bullying him). So it seems odd that he just... doesn't know.

But WOW is he a good actor, if that's the case. Another one of his many surprising talents, he never stops impressing her.

the leaftail & hallowflight thing has given me an idea for a very funny au where, instead of frostpaw's warrior mentor being harelight, it's hallowflight, and she keeps running off to windclan to visit whistlepaw. he always goes to get her, and somehow, leaftail is Always There to make some snarky comment about runaway apprentices and how he could do better and here, hallowflight, let me SHOW you how to do it, totally just because i know how to do it not because i want to spend time with you-
