@bb8sbuddy Addilae had been one of the many waiting for Poe to come back home. They had always been friends but as she grew older those feelings turned into something else. She never said anything because she didn’t know whether or not he’d like her back, and if he didn’t like her back, there would go their years of friendship. They’d be awkward around each other, especially if she acted upon her emotions. He’d probably never talk to her again. He was her rock, she had come to that conclusion. When his ship came into eyesight she jumped and almost squealed with joy at the sight of her friend. She ran up to him and hugged him tightly, of course saying excuse me as she had run through the crowd. She held onto him tightly, as if he would leave if she were to let him go.

It had been a hell of a day and all Poe wanted to do was lay down. Once he got back to base he tried to make it back to his bunk but was way too tired to do so so he simply laid on one of the couches in the common area. As he was about to crash he felt someone fall onto the couch beside him, almost pushing him off. Without opening his eyes he rolled to his side and snuggled up to whoever was beside him. If they wanted to lay beside him he would make it so they both fit.
Rey sighed and curled against the pilot, too tired to care about anything or how odd it was to be this close to another human. There wasn’t anywhere else to sleep so this would have to do. “You’re warm.”
