TRUTHFUL THURSDAY ANNOUNCEMENT + REMINDERS
Hi everyone! Our next Truthful Thursday (TT) is just a couple of days away so we wanted to get this out to you in preparation. Before we get to announcements, I want to revisit some discussions pertaining to TT:
Members voiced some concerns about not receiving as many asks as others, so please be sure to spread the love equally.
As Admin Chrissy noted, if you want memes in your inbox, you need to be sending them out, too. We’ve noticed that some are overcompensating for others’ lack of reciprocation (kudos to those who have been doing their part), and we want to do what we can to keep TT fun for everyone!
We're excited to announce that we are introducing STARTER SATURDAY (SS) to coincide with Truthful Thursday! TT will be reserved for ask memes and dash games while SS will be reserved for starter memes that you can use to start interactions with someone in the form of text posts or threads.
We’ve also created a hub to post memes throughout the day or find past memes that we’ve done. This blog will post memes on Thursdays and Saturdays, but you’re still free to reblog or post your own memes on those days as well, as long as they’re appropriate for the day in question.
As always, participation in TT and SS is totally optional. Because we understand that meme days might not be enjoyed by all, we’re asking everyone to tag their memes and responses with bb:tt or bb:ss to keep the dash open for those wanting to continue with their usual activity. It goes without saying (we like to err on the side of caution), but anything remotely nsfw should be tagged as such for the sake of others.
