I wonder how people will react when Merlin’s magic, Gwen’s innocence regarding the bracelet, and Morgana’s responsibility are revealed, especially if they are done at the same time. How will Arthur act when he sees that once again he trusted the wrong people and -->mistrusted the only person to never lie to him<--. I am dying to see everyone’s reactions including the yours. You should do a fic where after a few years of marriage he finds out the truth?
HEY there Anon!!! AHH! I KNOW RIGHT!! I would LOVE to see Arthur’s reaction to finding out about the bracelet and the whole enchantment! Sadly, I don’t think we ever will!! It seems to be something somewhat forgotten, or at least not to be explored in Season 5 BUT I was REALLY happy to hear at SDCC that Arthur completely trusts Gwen and that they’re happily married ;)! While I’ll always be bitter about that, its good to know that even though Morgana’s evil plot worked to a certain extent … Arwen love conquered all ;)!!!
I honestly feel bad for Arthur!! He trusts people so much, and then gets betrayed by them, or believes to get betrayed by them!! Don’t get me wrong, I feel HORRIBLE for Guinevere too, but seriouslyy! People need to just stop lying to Arthur I think ;)!! Trust him as much as he trusts others!! I just hope the Mordred thing won’t turn into another MASSIVE betrayal!!!
As for the Magic Reveal… … . .THAT IS SOMETHING I CAN’T WAIT FOR!! What I want to happen is that Arthur nearly dies (since in the legends he does) so its this huge dramatic thing, and then Merlin saves his life from that!! I mean obviously, Arthur’s been on his death bed how many times hahah but with Mordred coming back … who knows what’ll happen!!!
