It’s been a hectic and stressful few months for the GIRLS IRL, but we’ve been trying really hard to promote our brand a lot more. We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who listened to us on BBC Radio Nottingham on either Tuesday or Wednesday between 7-8pm.

Hey look, we'z on the radio!

We're grateful to Dean and the team at The Beat, BBC Radio Nottingham, for playing 'Hide With Me' from the forthcoming mini-album on tonight's show and for calling us "A bit of a discovery" and afterwards remarking "That was rather good, wasn't it?"

Appreciate the airtime and the positive comments. It's a tiny thing really but it made me smile a lot.

Catch the whole show here, there were some other really hot local bands on including 5 Days of November, who I will most definitely be checking out further.

I'm also glad to see that they were happy to play a 5-minute track, even when a 3-minute-something edit of Faceless Love was on offer. Kudos the Beeb.
