- With the positive feedback given by the ..... we began medially with our second presentation.
Illustrators - Grace, Rebecca - Both illustrators produced the still concepts inspired by my previous iterations of the animations style frame. They both took that role forward and with their skills produced the characters which are to be used within the storyboard and the animatic.
Myself / Emily - I given myself to produce a short animatic, illustrating a section of the storyboard, hopefully to give the viewers and BBC an idea of what we aim to see the ...

Illustration Collaboration
23/03/17
Group A:
Illustrators - Grace, Rebecca
Animators - Emily, James B, James C
With the task at hand, given by the BBC. This project began by getting to know our groups and collaborating with the illustrators. The day was divided by all of us gathering research on the latest topics and events via news that had sparked our interest, and with our collective research we could condense it and focus on one particular topic that we felt could connect to the audience on a global scale.
Idea development
- We have gathered and noted recent news articles to which we find interesting Hart warming content
notes - 28/03/17
- The Refugees
- “ Boy embarrassed of vitigo meets dog with the same skin condition”
- “Formally abused dog saves 3 year old girl she finds naked shivering in a ditch”
The Homeless - local news feed
- The homeless /The big issue, interviewing the people gather research and discuss about their stories (interview) members of the public (The young generation 16/25 yr) and let us hear their views and opinions of the homeless. Questions like “ Why do we ignore the Homeless”.
- Although the news feed would be based on Norfolk, the concept of the ever-growing concern for the homeless effects on a global scale. Not only would this connect to our Norfolk public but it will speak out to other regions.
Initial Animation content
- Our aim is to humanise the homeless, and change the perceptions of how we, as the younger generation think and feel about of the homeless. A small change for the better.
Style:
- Simple use of imagery, bold, clear and simplistic use of characterisation, visually pleasing to grab the attention to the audience.
- Colour: Vibrant and textured, illustrating vibrant colours and textures, such as (brush marks / watercolour). Will enhance the aesthetic of the animation, the mixture of colour and traditional mark making will give a sense of safety and friendly approach for young viewers. Likewise the use of vibrant colours can and will portray emotion and a sense of equality to all.
