Jenny’s Answer: I know you did not ask me a question, but I want to respond- not in order to get your vote, but maybe to get your forgiveness. At the time of the first conversation, we were at final 5 and I honestly did not believe you were going to be fourth. At that point, I would have taken you and Scott to f3. While I am unsure what I would have done if I had to choose between the two of you for final 2, I sincerely meant that you were not going home fourth. Now for the second conversation. At that point, I had already made my promise to Scott, and it killed me to lie to you, but I felt as if it was justified in order to prevent you from putting all of your effort into the comp. Also, as a sidenote, I had completely forgotten about the first conversation when I made my decision to evict you. I have a horrible memory, and I did not remember that you had gotten fourth multiple times. I am really sorry that I put you through that again, and I really hope we can put this game aside and become friends again. While I do not regret my decision, I do regret how horrible it made you feel. Even though I knew that you wanted this, I didn’t know how much my actions would hurt you. I don’t want you to think that I did this with a cold heart. For the next few days, I was extremely sad and upset about how hurt you were, and could not stop thinking about it. While I know that my explanation won’t make this better, maybe you will understand where I was coming from. You are a great player and an even better friend, and I wish you all of the best.
