The Uniform Project
The Uniform Project - An Indian girl (brought up partly in India and England) who met a fashion seamstress student and conceived a project to raise money for Akanksha. She wore the same item of clothing everyday which was innovatively used to create fashionable outfits - a different design for everyday of the year. Through this blog they raised over 100,000 pounds (that's almost 300 kids who went to school), the items were walked on NY Fashion week, London FW and Milan, etc, the outfits were sold in a store for profit and now they are making a platform in year 2 for people to do their own projects and continue to raising money.
