Obligatory LOMAT Post
Hey, it’s Krysal. Some of you may have heard that LOMAT has been released. Here it is, for those of you who want to play. Oh. You want hints? Okay. There are two endings to LOMAT. One is the “normal” one, and one is the “waste” one. On LOMAT, you are supposedly playing Eirikr Kharun, Guide of Void, and your job is to guide these gulls covered in mysterious bedsheets to their final destination. Essentially, you are a psychopomp. There are two ways you can do this. The nice, peaceful way, or the grueling, brutal way. The grueling way is scarier, and not nice to anyone. But try it! Your opposition here is Fenrir, a large dog-snake-thing. He’s just a big dog. That’s it. He made some friends, and he likes seeing his friends. He doesn’t like not seeing his friends. But where is he...? Well, where would our big boss for a Void land be? And how would you be able to get yourself there? Of course, you COULD just go see Fenrir after you’ve done your job. But that’s boring. So what’s more interesting than that? There’s an AudioLog that can steer you in the right direction. But consider. Fenrir is thought to be unbeatable. There is no way to truly win against him. You can’t win him to your side. So, as a Void player, what CAN you do? If you can’t fight him and win... what options are there left? Perhaps these will shine some light on what you need to do. And on someone who truly deserves it. :) Anyway, I’ve put in a list of bugs to JR, and if I find more I’ll send them to her. Hopefully this’ll help make the runs a bit easier; I know right now passphrase windows won’t dispel themselves after a gull dies, so they do get in the way especially if you’re working towards one variation of an ending. Just be careful of it. At the least it doesn’t take too terribly long to get back to where you were, despite having no save data. Unless you run into Lil Scumbag. Then you’re fucked. It’s going to take forever. Anyway, have fun guys. I might touch on more specific theories and such eventually. Right now I figured I’d get a general guide out. Ha. Guide.
