Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1/4 cup olive oil. 2 tablespoons paprika. 1 tablespoon garlic powder. 1 tablespoon onion powder. 1 tablespoon brown sugar. 1 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Wood chips for smoking.
Instructions: Use any wood chips you want to heat up your smoker to 225F 107C. Take a small bowl and mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. This will make a rub. Make sure the spice mixture covers all of each chicken breast by rubbing it on evenly. Put the chicken breasts that have been seasoned on the smoker grate and put a meat thermometer in the middle of one of the breasts that is the thickest. It should take about 2 to 2.5 hours of smoking the chicken for it to reach an internal temperature of 165F 74C. When the chicken breasts are done, take them out of the smoker and let them rest for 5 minutes. Then, cut them into pieces. Enjoy! Serve the tasty smoked BBQ chicken with your favorite sides.
