BBSI has officially turned 6 years old, and it’s quite baffling to me if I can be honest. I started this when I was a teen, and now I’m a whole ass adult.
On April 19th 2019 my first ever album came out, marking the debut of BBSI (formerly known as dumb-000 records and WBBPM) and Brooklyn. This became the basis of what the project would shape into nowadays. It started with 3 characters and over the years the cast both grew but also got adjusted multiple times. Now in 2025 it has 7 characters!
while my former work never took off, I kept on going. BBSI is more than just a funny silly music project, it’s like a weird form of therapy to me. Being able to create sounds that reach people all over the world is incredible. I can be myself in the form of audio. Music truly is wonderful.
It’s incredible that this small silly project I started reached so many people and not only helped them connect over music, but also inspired them to make their own. It really created its own community and that’s crazy. I hope that my work will continue to inspire people of any age to make their own.
