Playing with Pike’s corpse form

Big Brother moving out into the isolation of the mountains could have only done so much to stall the impending corruption from the web. It wasn’t even obvious that anything was changing, Brother would go to work, drive across interstates, pick up what was lost. Those bodies just started to never quite scratch that itch. This annoying want, urge. A question at the tip of the tongue and an answer right before your eye, like a blurry image marred by smudged day room glass. Almost there but not ever enough.

Only one thing could satisfy that hand-trembling drive.

Its head was warm and soft inside, just like it had been on the outside. Big brother got to know that it was honest finally.

He tossed it out on the side of the road. He didn’t want to think about regret. What he did, he had to do, or else he would never had known.

It took weeks, months;

But his baby eventually came back home.
