just wanted to come here and yap a bit because HOLY SHIT
i just finished binge watching the walten files, because i've been hearing a lot about it recently after episode 5 released, and i'm in genuine shock (also like spoiler warning, but if you haven't watched the walten files yet GO DO THAT)
i've never seen something so unsettling and disturbing yet so beautiful at the same time
early on it definitely felt like an average analog horror, but episode three and onward genuinely told such a compelling story
i hadn't planned on watching all of it tonight, but i just couldn't stop watching it, it was so beautiful
the artstyle is amazing, the characters are amazing, there's like so many little intricacies to the characters that i relate to so painfully well
i've also never been more engrossed in a story, i felt actual anger at felix when he choose to drive the car while knowing he was drunk and killing the kids, and i felt so painfully bad for rosemary, especially when seeing her diary entries in my soul (i nearly cried, which is like very rare). i also felt really bad for sophie, because she lost her siblings, father, and had to deal with her mother going crazy and then disappearing all in an extremely short period of time. even as someone who really related to sophie when she was describing how she wasn't affected by the death of her siblings, i feel like even all of that would hurt me a lot
i also don't think i've ever talked this way about a fictional series before. most of the time, i'm very aware of the fact it's a work of fiction and therefore talk about it that way, but it feels so much different for this series, and i have no clue why that's the case (i mean besides the fact that it's amazing)
i think the walten files is just like everything i want horror to be (besides the stereotypical analog horror stuff) and more and that's why i love it so much
anyway i think that concludes the end of my yap about the walten files, i have no clue if i'm just overreacting and will look back at this and think i'm crazy or if it's genuinely just that heavenly
Would it be fair if Raven realises that Acidobacillus could corrupt the computers? Literally everyone ignores the warning this dumbass sends and calls it a day 😭 IF Raven never realises it (which is canon rn), i think Amydros would win everything since well its confirmed he created that image of his final form by manipulating the ACIC's AI.. he can definitely do it again with ME07 and MC08. But there's a chance of Amy forgetting that detail since hes still a dumbass.
But at the same time hes still the embodiment of intelligence so i shouldnt be saying that stuff to him 💀
