The hot water is doing wonders for my back, but the moment I relax for a bit the babies start kicking up a storm in there. My belly is so far out now that I can’t even see my lower body in the tub anymore.

We got huge surprise at the first ultrasound! No wonder I’ve been growing fast; we saw two tiny little beans on the screen instead of one. It’s twins! I'm so thankful to be so blessed by Mother Earth and get to watch these two little seeds grow inside my belly.
About 29 weeks now and it’s so amazing seeing how big I’m getting while carrying these 2 little souls! My belly is really starting to stick farther and farther out now, haha. My Mom was telling me about how nice having twins is and how close they will be, I know my twin siblings are very close. I can’t wait to see what these 2 are gonna be like, but I’ll miss having them in my belly.
It’s almost time for us to meet these beans and I’m so excited! I’m just taking in these last few days and enjoying my last few days with them in my belly. I’m really going to miss this huge belly that carried and nurtured these sprouts to full-term.
I’m only a few weeks past our halfway point, but I’m already measuring close to full term from my previous pregnancies. can’t wait for these beans to get here, their little kicks are getting stronger and stronger. I’m measuring at least 10 weeks ahead, so I know these babies are growing good!
This morning I felt labor getting started while teaching a lesson with the kids in the garden!
I labored unassisted for a bit, then called the midwife when things started getting closer so she could monitor everything and watch for any complications.
Eventually, we transitioned to the birth pool and after about an hour in the water I delivered a boy, followed by a girl about 15 minutes later. All said and done, everything went super smoothly and the midwife noted they were the biggest set of twins she’d ever seen!
River (5.8 lbs) and Rain (5.5 lbs)They are great weights for twins, and have been latching great so far, we are so in love.
Homestretch now and I can’t believe how big this belly has gotten! The babies are healthy and doing great, so I still want to go into labor naturally and have a homebirth.
The weight of carrying these 2 big healthy babies is really starting to strain my back when I’m doing things around the house. Yoga has been helping me avoid soreness as my belly gets bigger and heavier.
