Although I’ve left the fashion world, I’m forever grateful for the techniques I learnt along the way and this particular one came to mind during the show. Aimee is from Nottingham which is renowned for the manufacturing of lace, which is something she wanted to incorporate into her final masterpiece. We visited the lace exhibition at Nottingham castle and looked at the history of lace to get some inspiration.
