Thoughts on Gojo saying love is the most twisted curse of them all??

One of my most favorite line that made me fall for him more. When I read that back in the manga I felt the series of failed love stories back in days flash before me. It was unpleasant, very.

Love is both a curse and a blessing. To love and to be loved back is what we all crave for. Let it be platonically or more than that, it brings that kind of feeling that makes you complete, found, relieved. Yet it's a curse because it can also drive someone to their sanity. To those who say love is all the wonderful things, it's really not. Most of the time it can hurt more than anything if you took it the wrong way. We chase for it, we topple over it, we would risk for it, it makes you do stuff that are either good/evil, and gives you times wherein you make the hardest decisions. You feel despair yet there are moments you feel the happiest. It's like you have to read more than one thick book about it; love comes in many concepts that the information is never enough to even describe it or to understand.

It gets you all twisted, really. It's heart wrenching the same ways. But yes, these are my thoughts about Gojo's line. Writing this now has brought back a lot of memories in the past that I never want to go back to and feel again. Hearing thag from Gojo makes me believe he understood some fractures about it. Definitely a banger for me.

Just read when jjk guys hit the sweet spot and damn goio😍 so i wanna hear others thought on something gege revealed in the fanbook why even though gojo knows he’s handsome he doesn’t have girlfriend. Sure we readers can come up with our own reasons (hectic life of a shaman, his personality, or just not looking or interested in anyone right now) but gege really had to use the word “cant see him being faithful....” like damn gojo cheater canon? Gege could have use “not commit” but using “not” and “faithful” in the same sentence automatically makes people think of unfaithful. What do you think?

okokok soooo i got this thought literally just now when you asked. When i saw the word, "unfaithful" for me it pertains to the fact that Gojo may be more on faithful to his role as a jujutsu sorcerer than to another person. Of course also being entitled as the strongest, i personally believe that Gojo has built this kind of facade to purposely make people think of him other wise so they won't get pulled in the dangers of his life, resulting to many disliking him.

Another reason may be is that because of Geto perhaps? Dismissing the shipping here, I think that's where Gojo experienced what having someone in his life meant like the attachments, trust, also love he never had. I believe Geto's betrayal and death did a number to him as time went on. I must add he did claim he was his one and only bestfriend

So in conclusion to all of this, I don't think Gojo could go as far to that cheating level. Rather it's because of his traumatic past he couldn't risk it anymore. The only person he's ever laid out his life and faith was Geto (platonically) the fear of losing someone is forever scarred to him deep inside. As much as annoying as he can be or very unlikable to many, i strongly believe he's afraid but would not dare to show. Sure he can go hooha to anyone, but he can't see himself settling down when every thing in his life is all chaotic and taking.

Your fic 'Gojo Satoru' had me in tears (i loved it), literally. the reader is literally described as 'saviour, lifeline and hope' How do you think Gojo would react if he had someone like that in life? Do you think he'd commit? Also Geto and Gojo were only ever platonic?

Oh I canon Gojo would just look at that special someone with so much admiration and wishes he could say the unspoken words he wants them to hear; how they made his life worth living, how he finds a safe haven with them and a happier future. Someone who can look at him as just Gojo Satoru and not some tall guy who could destroy the world if he wants to or for his background. It's like he feels that that person is the most beautiful gift he's ever had after so much has been taken away from him. A happy Gojo is what I live for hhhhhhhhh.

He would commit with all his heart! He's greedy at that but only because he does not want to lose something precious in his life again. Someone he holds dear.

For me, yeah. Geto and Gojo share this platonic/brotherly kind of love. They portray it so well through how they fight a lot, they still care about each other and always had their back.

It doesn't hurt to imagine them in a relationship like how others see them ^^ the two are simply the best pair and deserved so much and better than what they had.

Here’s a big one like the man himself. What do you think of gojo? What made you like him? What do you hate that everybody seems to love about him? Theories on his childhood?

My first thought was that he was drop dead the most gorgeous being I have ever seen. But as time went on his character just rubbed onto me because I happen to relate on some parts. For example, he has a sweet tooth like myself (frankly i am the only one with a sweet tooth on both friendships and relatives) I think of the man as someone who hides his own struggles and real emotions. Despite being the cocky and flowery guy he is, I know deep inside he's not. Personally, I don't think he's annoying, he's like that one guy in class who just wants every one to have a good time no matter how bad the situation can be.

I got hooked onto Gojo's character at first sight because I thought he was just all fun and games. A nice laughable guy, but looking into the deeper picture, i adored how he cares about each student and his interactions with his colleagues. How he cherishes people in his life for sticking out with him. While yes, he does crack a lot of jokes, but he still makes good points that actually struck me. Lines like, "Be more greedier, do your best." "dying to win is different from risking death to win." was what i kept in mind. The first one was a motivation for me, and because of that I knew i loved the man. Gojo is that one character who's watching over the people he cares about, I'd be heartbroken once he finds out a lot of them have, you know? Guy lost a lot, i just wish he was genuinely happy again and lived a normal, good life.

I don't really have anything to hate from Gojo tbh. He's just lovable!

The only theory i have of his childhood is how he was treated, hence why he's grew up like this. Perhaps he was raised to always be reminded that if you became the strongest— becoming the top, you can get anything you want. That as a child, facts like, "You can do every thing." "You are the honored one." has been drilled into him. Perhaps that's why he's grew up to be cocky and before he did not understand other emotions since he didn't grew up to that. Even Geto pointed out that he should respect his elders to which Gojo was dumbfounded. Safe to say the guy did not learn that. Adding also that he tends to rub off Utahime a lot. Gojo knows no bounds whatsoever until he became an adult. The kind of "love" he grew up with was all just praises because of his gift, destinies, spoiling. But I'm glad that i can see Gojo grew out of that phase.

What do you think gojo's type is? I think gojo's type would have to stand on at least equal ground to him so power dynamics aren't so off the scale or maybe not? But it would make it easier to relate and he can be honest at least with his occupation. I've seen people say strong is a no.1 factor to be in a relationship with gojo and yeah i can see that but it has to go beyond strength to be an actual and functional relationship

While I also like to think that the first thing Gojo looks for a partner are their abilities and power level, I know there's more than just that. A relationship doesn't function just because of the pairs background, status, but it's more on the character. For me I think it doesn't really matter whether his type is strong or weak, while Gojo does provoke people like Utahime, he still acknowledges her. That's one factor I can point out that power doesn't matter.

Going back to one of the known Jujutsu Sanpo where they were asked on what type they had, while I know Gojo wasn't pertaining that his type was Miwa. Rather I sense he has a thing for nice people. It's not every day the guy has someone who treats/talks to him nicely after being the most unbearable person to be with.

I think it's rare for him to be treated with kindness since he's often showered with comebacks from his insults or praises for being almighty. Having someone like that would really be foreign for him and surprisingly, he's gonna end up yearning for more in my opinion. I doubt he's had someone look at him like a normal person. That one hits the mark. I like to say Gojo just wants a person to accept him for just simply being him, regardless of strength.

So if and if gojo did find the "one" how do you think he would react? Pushes them away because of the trauma or if were being idealistic...?

pushing them away would be a 90% chance for me UNLESS unless per say, that one person that managed to have caught his heart would make his world turn.

memories aren't easy to replace nor to be erased. That goes to Gojo's past events, so unless the person really is determined in pursuing the guy, I'd say it's only a matter of time until Gojo realizes to have faith and love again once more and that the past isn't the same as today. The man literally made himself the most unlikable person, of course he's going to feel giddy inside when someone found him endearing.

That person should also be wary of his world. A relationship with Gojo isn't a walk in the park, you're going hand in hand with a man capable of destroying every thing and corpses here and there. There will be days you'll be at the edge of waiting for him to come home, sometimes not. And not every one can handle that, to be at constant worry.

To find someone who accepts his entire being, understanding his world, and most of all, just sees him as Gojo Satoru and not being the strongest shaman, I just know that that person will have that one special place in his heart. I'd imagine he'd feel that he isn't honored to have someone because it was too good to be true, no one expected him to really find the one nor would they expect that person to last with him.

Gojo would still be terrified no doubt. That can't be removed, but I'll bet my soul he's going to hold that person and expose the side no one has witnessed because for the first time, he can actually feel himself become more human and loved than before. He'll be beyond thankful to find someone as his equal and other half again.
