Will wee see more of Dane and Ray soon? 🥰 I'm so happy the two of them are together - I'd been wondering ever since reading the texting scenes!! Seriously, suuuuch a good touch.
Y’all make me want to spam them. Holding on to this has been so tough. The texting scenes were some of my favorite to do. 🙈 So much fun to start introducing Ray while not giving too much information away.
Gameplay/storywise, I will be taking a bit of a break. I have got to clean out my cc folder again in order to prep my game for updating. I still haven’t done that since the window breaking patch. I will be posting a few things the future and I will be reblogging an ask game soon.
i’m not done with the challenge!! ik it’s been months sosjsojsos i started in march but oh well... idk i’m just starting to get back into the sims and actually enjoying it!! the bc made me extremely stressed and unmotivated to play the sims so i’m waiting to actually have enough time to play without being stressed. don’t know when that’ll happen though!!

W: We’ll start easy. The moonlight is shining upon you as the stars dance upon you. There is a near by river filled with gentle waters and fireflies hang above the tall grass. What do you do next?
Ash: That’s too easy.
W & A: He’s swimming.
D: So... I’m predictable. You don’t have to be a mermaid to appreciate the appeal of floating down the river while Mother Nature puts on a show above you.
A: [laughs] Smooth.
W: Alright, Mr. Mother Nature, she’s sending you a bird that sits outside your window every morning. What type of bird is it and what do you name it?
D: My luck? Probably a parakeet. Just to drive me crazy. He would be PITA.
A: And every morning, you would make sure there was food available for him.
D: [shrugs] Probably. Next question.
W: [laughs] Here’s a good one. You’re at a party and decide to start a little bit of chaotic fun, what do you do?
D: Who’s around?
A: Does it matter?
D: Do they know we have some witchy help?
A: Nooo...
D, W & A: [laughs]
A: I still can’t believe we didn’t get in trouble for that.
W: You’re welcome.
D: If you’re going to boast about having the scariest Halloween party, you really should deliver. The paintings whispering things every time you passed were the best.
W: I was a fan of the music changing every time the parents tried to change the music.
W: Now for the dirt. Describe your ex-girlfriend.
D: It does not say that?
W: It might as well.
D: Willow...
W: [sigh] Alright. Fine. Describe your best friend.
W & A: Esmée
D: I could have described one of you.
A: But you weren’t.
W: Can you truly say you’re not friends with any of your exes? Just one.
D: Nicole.
W: She doesn’t count.
D: Why not?
A: You were nine.
D: You’re all pains in my ass. Opinionated nosy bodies. Who needs a parakeet at my window when I got you?
W: You love us.
D: No comment.

W: Final question. What makes you smile the brightest?
D: Easy. Love.
W: That’s chessy.
D: Says who?
A: Explain then.
D: How can you not smile watching a kid play with his pet? Or seeing two people cherish each other after putting an argument to rest? Or knowing that your cousins drive you crazy because they want the best for you.
A: See...
W & A: You do love us.

[thinking to self] Favorite season? Summer. Favorite holiday? Harvestfest. Favorite foods? Breakfast sandwiches, pizza, all types of breads. Favorite weather? Sunny days.
Opinions on the arts? I grew up in a very arts driven house. I guess you could say it’s in my DNA. I don’t know if I have a favorite, but I guess you could say I lean towards the visual arts. I... [shakes head] there’s just not enough time in the day.
Marriage and kids? Most definitely. I’ve always dreamed of having what my dads have, that special someone to spend the rest of my life with. And although I’m an only child, I come from a large extended family. I’d like to have a least a couple of kids.
Future home? It’s always been more an idea than a tangible thing. It doesn’t matter if it’s a tiny apartment or a huge mansion. What matters is the people, the feelings, the love. As for location? It would be a lie if I said it wouldn’t be bittersweet to leave Sulani and my family behind.
What type of sleeper am I? I am a hot mess. I toss and turn, take up more than my half of the bed, and definitely been known to steal my fair share of the blankets.
My favorite physical trait? My eyes. On a potential girlfriend? Seth swears I’m a vamp, but their necks. One of my random acts of affection is neck massages. As for a more pyschological trait, there’s nothing sexier than a woman who knows what she wants.
Sexually confident vs shy? More confident. Dad says I’m definitely Pops’ son in that regard. I don’t think I’m an overly jealous person. To say I’ve never experienced it would be a lie, but why borrow trouble when there is none?
As for revealing my feelings towards a crush, I’ve always been a
little more straightforward. It’s backfired a time or two, but I’ve seen what holding on to secrets can do. I rather take the chance.
How has my family affected me? How have they not? My mom taught me to be strong. My dad taught me all about love. My pops taught be all about how to have fun. They’ve helped shaped me into the man I am today.
Insecurities and fears? Sure, I have them. I can be confident 99% of the time, but there’s always those moments of self doubt. Hell, I was going into my third year of college before I finally decided on my major. Are they exploitable? I’m sure someone could find a way. As for fears, without getting too deep, I’ll say snakes.
A past regret or something I wish I could change? The easy answer would be my mom. How different my life would have been with her by my side. But would all the things that came after have happened if she lived? How different would my dads be? How different would I be as a person? Would I be here prepping for this next stage in my life?
So the last question I didn’t cover was concerning his name. So I went a bit crazy looking earlier. I remember looking over another Polynesian/Pacific Islander name list when looking for a name for the boy. My though process behind it was that Penny was going to continue Hope and Ari’s naming tradition and it was my subtle clue to Tuki being Dane’s father. Well... I can’t seem to find that list and the meanings I’m finding for his name were not the reasons I named him that way. So... 🤷♀️
I really love the direction you took your bc! As much as I loved all the girls I still found myself satisfied with who dane ended up with. Very amazing job on this one!

Hearing y’all say this makes me very happy. I really was worried because it truly was going to be an unexpected turn. I can’t say it enough how much I loved each of the girls and their creators. Dane would have been lucky to end up with any of them. But I can’t help but be happy and excited that he followed his heart and found the person for him.
So did Dane and the contestants all end on good terms? Were they happy for him? :)
I like to think they did. The final three had seen him sink more and more into himself. They knew something was wrong. I mean, for someone said to be a massive cuddler, he definitely kept his distance from them all. One of those subtle things I tried really hard to portray. His relationship with JJ was more that of friendly flirtation. Amber was... she would completely fit in with Esmee and Kait and just be one of his good friends. Trisa... I think she might be the one most “hurt” by this change. I think out of them all, there was potential there for a relationship. She would have accepted it but it would have taken her a bit more time.

Hi! I’m so glad to hear you’re excited. I am definitely ready. lol. As for those aspirations, I have no problem with them. With the craziness of this challenge, I have seen many of sims jump high in friendship and then crash and burn when it comes to the romance.
