HAYLE SCHNEE

for @izayoichan ‘s Reaper Bachelor.

His real name its Kuraokami, a legendary dragon and Shinto deity of rain and snow. 

Driven by his curiosity, Kuraokami decided to descend to the earth to live among humans and learn about them and the rest of the creatures of the world. Being a deity, living in here have been hard for him since everything it’s completely new for him. One thing it’s watching the creatures from above, another more complicated it’s trying to act like one of them.

Besides being a little ignorant of human manners and behavior, Hayle (the name he uses in his human form) can be categorized as a good person. He likes to be outside, surrounded by nature and close to any space with water. On winter, don’t even try to get him inside, he loves the snow and the rain, this doesn’t bother him, on the contrary, he enjoys being outside with this kind of weather. As is normal for a god, he have powers and those are: he can control ice and water, but he usually avoids using his powers unless necessary ( like stopping Kagutsuchi, the god of fire from BBQing the world). After all, he is trying to fit in the human world.

One thing he really likes from the earth, it’s the music. The feelings that simple lyrics or instruments can embed in one person was amazing for him. Above, he uses to get songs from people as a way to keep him calm and avoid an ice storm or, on the contrary, as a way to ask him for rain. One could say that music controls him very well.

Even when he has a “rebel” or “tough” looks he can be very clumsy.

His real form it’s a big white dragon. 

He has a partial dragon form, that only show his horns, eyes, and fangs ( I made it, but I forgot to take pictures :C ).

He got in this “ challenge” because Kagutsuchi told him “it’s normal for humans”. 

Hayle can’t take the hot weather and high temperatures are a pain for him.

He is a shapeshifter, but prefer to have this specific look.

Human food makes him sick and since he doesn’t really need to eat, he doesn’t do it. He only needs energy that he gathers, sadly, from humans.

Hayle doesn’t know too much about the human world, but he does know a lot about other supernatural creatures. 

He has more years that one can count, still, his human body looks young.

In his dragon form, he didn’t care about emotions, but his human body has made him learn about this (like happiness) though he can’t understand yet what is love.

I could write more but this would be TOOO long so I’ll stop.

In Depth: Forest was born and raised in Granite Falls. His parents are 3rd and 5th generation Park Rangers. Forest is set to graduate from Ranger academy and become a new generation of Rangers, making his family proud. Except Forest, he never wanted to be a Ranger, he didnt know what he wanted to be for the longest time. Last year he was helping his parents clean out their attic, while up there he discovered a journal written by his great grandmother. He had heard stories of her, mostly that she walked out on her family, leaving her children to be raised solely by her husband. Reading through the journal he found that was the farthest thing from the truth. Seems his family had some secrets they happily have kept hidden for the last 75 years.

Those secrets are what have him continuing with Ranger academy, Those secrets that have him no longer trusting his own family, those secrets that have twisted and curled up in his brain that he doesnt know how good of a person he is. Those same secrets are also leading him to the countryside because the weight of what is coming has him in a choke hold and an adventure, mischief, maybe even some woohoo and good laughs will be what he needs to clear his head and make some hard decisions ...
