Dominic only had one 411 guest for the week, and it was Dallas. Outside of her jobs as a radio and television host, she was a skilled cartoonist and animator trying to save up to fund and produce her own anime series.
After the show, they sat around talking. Jalisa joined them, as she'd showed up extra early before the taping of her own show.
Eventually Dominic grew quiet while Jalisa and Dallas continued the conversation; his thoughts on everything but work, networking, connections, and possible skill improvement the ladies were discussing.
After sitting in on Jalisa's show, and Dallas providing a bit of constructive criticism, Dallas insisted she and Dominic walk to a nearby diner to chill before it was time to do a taping of their own show.
She really just wanted the chance to talk to Dominic alone without anyone else listening in or offering their own opinions. Of course, this was a gamble. Dallas had learned when they first met that Dominic was not the type to tell his business or lay his problems out for others to pick through. She also knew he had friends that he was much closer to, but she couldn't help but to let him know that lately she was more concerned than usual.
After their chat, and his assurance that he was perfectly fine with where he stood in his career path, they fell back into their regular antics. They argued (playfully) just as much as he did with his actual sisters and on the rare occasion Dallas decided to show her softer, more caring side, they needed to 'fight' to restore proper balance.
