Honestly though,
there was a comment where someone picked up on A Thing I Did in "All it takes is a name"
and I was so ridiculously happy to see that comment
#I did not overtly say anything about The Thing#but I littered hints towards it throughout the first chapter#yes littered is accurate here because I did an objectively horrible thing#but the comment just saying that they realized what happened there made me happy#bc like-#I gave people enough pieces of the puzzle to put it together without giving the answer and that feels spectacular as a writer#even if the solution leads to pain
