He knows the markings of the regulars that stay around the base and they’ve been handled enough that he can just pick them up and carry them around on his hat. The others hate it
YES TOTALLY Sniper is just,,.,.. really fucking good at animal handling and identification. One of his main interests is niche creature information, and if you get close to him he will absolutely go on for an hour about a specific species of caiman and how their diet changes in the seasons. But yes, he knows his reptiles, he knows their breeds by their looks, and absolutely will carry them around for fun. He talks to animals more than he talks to people ;;;w;;;
