the other problem with so many Wyatt-centric eps was that, by contrast, Chris had zero. His own birth was an afterthought in the last minute of the episode. And he was seen so little in seasons seven and eight that he might as well have not existed. Piper may have had two sons in theory, but in practice, Wyatt got the meat of her and Leo's attention while Chris's part in his appearances was to be passed around like a hot potato.
yeah it’s like you know if you step back from a production standpoint the differences between wyatt and chris make sense but if you look at it like in universe like what the fuck man. like Especially when it comes to powers. like wyatt is practically a baby god and can do basically any and every single thing you can possibly conceive and chris is like. telekinesis. he can orb! but he can’t heal. and he can telekinetically orb? and that’s it : ). whereas wyatt in canon is like projection telekinesis telekinetic orbing orb shield photokinesis orbing healing sensing literary manipulation combustive orbing conjuration transformation energy waves power swapping pyrokinesis incineration shrinking summoning technopathy. and he has excalibur : ) HELLO????? bro what?????????? like dude. dude what. and it’s also like. flavorless. like again i get why you would want to stuff a baby full of every magic power known to man so like the baby can defend itself in a house highly frequented by demons but like. it doesn’t make for a fun character. like at the age of one he’s already unkillable what are you supposed to do with that? it’s so boring. like usually in the majority of media where you have this concept of like a chosen one or one who’s undeniably more powerful that the rest they’re still like beatable. otherwise the story’s fucking boring. like. chris’s power difference between wyatt is stupid but at least it gives him more character.
