Caroline was browsing the local markets as she always did whenever discovering a new city. The air tickled her exposed flesh and allowed the blonde to take a moment to enjoy the surroundings no matter how accustomed she was becoming with all the ancient cities of Europe. It had been fifteen years since she last planned a party for the town of Mystic Falls, let alone stepped foot in the infamous Mystic Grill. It has also been fifteen years since the death of both Jeremy and her mother. The thought wasn't a bittersweet one but a nostalgic one. Since the funeral, Caroline had sworn off the tiny town of tragedy and set out with Tyler to discover all the places Klaus, her teachers, and Alaric, mesmerized about. The death of her mother awoken the part of Caroline that was itching to do more with her life to evolve into this person and explore the world with the person she had fallen madly in love with.
